The Letter E

We have lots of fun with our letters during the week. On Thursdays, we spend time creating and exploring our letter of the week with developmentally appropriate multisensory activities. We work on fine motor skills and pre literacy concepts. One of our favorite activities is using the dough to make our letter of the week.
This week's letter was E

We started with 4 balls of red dough. One ball was larger than the other three.

We poked...

and played...

and eventually rolled.

The largest ball of dough was rolled into a long snake and became the left vertical line of the E.

The 3 small balls of dough were rolled into short snakes to make the horizontal lines.

TADAAA!!!!
